Pushkar City Tour

Pushkar is a sacred shrine of India and an important place for Hindu Devotees. The city is 11 kms far from Ajmer that is also a famous tourist place of Rajasthan. Pushkar houses more than 400 temples, including Brahma Temple. The annual Pushkar fair organized every year in Oct-Nov is another attraction for the tourists.

Tourist Attractions

Pushkar Lake - Pushkar lake is the key attraction of the city and the most sacred site for Hindu Devotees. The semi-circular lake has 52 ghat located around the lake. As per the mythological belief, a dip into the lake will make the devotee achieve the salvation.

Brahma Temple - Brahma temple is the only temple of the world dedicated to Lord Brahma. The beautiful temple is adorned with marble and house four headed idol of lord Brahma.

Savitri Temple - Savitir temple is dedicated to the goddess Savitri, the first wife of Brahma. Savitri temple is situated just behind the Brahma temple on the hill.You will enjoy a terrific view of the scenic Pushkar lake and unusual sand dunes.

Rangnath Temple - Rangnath temple is famous for magnificent south Indian architecture style. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and houses a huge image of Lord Vishnu. It has a large ghat “ Gopuram” and Garuda pillars carved with a mythical bird styled in gold.

Apteshwar Temple - Apteshwar temple was built in 12th century and dedicated to Lord Shiva.
